In the pursuit of a dream to establish a livelihood rooted in sharing the wonders of the U.P. with others. Mike Koziara owner of MQT Adventures started a Facebook page and Youtube channel exploring the areas best trout fishing. Fascinated with the beauty and pristine quality of the rivers, a fire was lit. Mike focused on learning every inch of stream that was accessible in the Marquette area. He developed and learned proven techniques to catch the native trout that reside in the northern most wilderness of Michigan.

September 2017 Marquette Adventures LLC. was formed and he expanded services across the Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. With a team of seasoned and experienced guides they tackled four seasons of service. Spring, Summer, Fall, and long Winters.

2021 MQT Adventures established a fulltime schedule consisting of eco-tours, charters, wilderness adventures and kayak rental services. Many additional services since than have been added. Lake Superior Ice fishing, A 17ft Inland Walleye Boat, Recreational Beach Tours, Fly Fishing and Interpretive hiking.

2022 Mike Koziara earned and completed his U.S. Captains license and began operations on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan Chartering for Lake Trout and Salmon with MQT Adventures and Relentless Charters.

2023 We have added a Big Game Recovery Dog named Harlow. Harlow is a Basset Shephard and has tracked and recovered over a dozen big game animals in her first fall season.

The Team at MQT Adventures always has a busy schedule, but we strongly feel that to be the best ambassadors of the U.P. that we must embrace all 4 seasons. We Cherish all the wilderness has to offer.
