Explore the Beaches at Night looking for the rare Yooper Stone. Meet your instructor for this 3 hour educational course in the field. While the sun sets spend 40 minutes learning about the types of composition and creation of these unique stones: Fluorescent Sodalite, a.k.a. Yooper Stones!
After class, go rock hounding and hit the water outfitted with specialty lights and protective eye wear to find these stones. Your instructor will teach you about the different classifications of fluorescent minerals and patterns.
